Liverpool’s new home kit for next season appears to have been leaked online, with an image showing Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk modelling the shirt being shared by fans.
In an image tweeted by Twitter user @childishsadbino, the strip features a red collar with a button, showing a striking difference from this season’s number which features a deep V collar in white.
The rest of the strip is red – obviously, as there’s only so much you can do with a Liverpool home shirt after all – with the colour appearing to follow this season’s pattern of a deeper red hue than in previous years.
Like this season’s strip – which the Reds have worn on their way to the Champions League semi-finals – the shirt seems to be a hit with the club’s fans.
Twitter user Carol Austin wrote: “Nice, I hope they keep the orange one though!”, while LFC 92 added: “Looks nice wen you see it on them.”
The images back up leaked photos that surfaced online in February , which claimed to show the club’s new home, away and third strips for 2018/19.
Kit manufacturers New Balance are expected to officially launch the kit before the end of the season.
