A report by Taiwan’s Economic Daily News claims that Apple’s 2019 iPhone will have a three 12-megapixel lenses on the rear of the smartphone.
The report said: “It is expected to have 12 million pixels 6P anti-shock specifications, and can achieve 5 times zoom effect.”
The rumours come just two weeks after Huawei released its own smartphone with a triple lens camera – the P20 Pro.
The triple-lens camera – comprised of a 40MP, 20MP and 8MP sensor – on the P20 Pro has the highest total pixel count on a smartphone available in the market, resulting in stunning images.
The report suggests that Apple could reveal the triple-lens camera iPhone in the ‘second half of the year.’
