Former Glee actor Damian McGinty has said he’s chuffed to have finally released his first album of original tracks as he reveals what inspired the five-track EP.
Damian, who first found fame as a member of Celtic Fusion before playing Rory Flanagan in the FOX TV hit, said he began work on his own material five years ago, but wanted to wait until he had produced something he was truly proud of before sharing it with fans.
Speaking about his new album, he explained: “No More Time is a totally fair and accurate representation of where I currently am as an artist.
“I began writing about five years ago after being in the music industry for almost a decade through different shows such as Glee and Celtic Thunder.
“I had to get past the not so good stuff to reach a point where I can finally release songs I am proud of.”
The 25-year-added that the tracks, which were all recorded in Belfast, Northern Ireland, were inspired by his journey over the last few years.
He added: “These songs tell stories of me being on the road, meeting different people from all aspects of life, leaving home and love.”
“It is a flavor of a full record coming early next year and I hope people love it.”
